"But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with (Jesus) Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved."
(Ephesians 2:4-5)

Vacation Bible School Update

As a church, our number one priority is sharing the word of God with our community in a safe manor.  With the COVID-19 crisis,  this has caused us to look at our ministries and prayerfully consider how God is leading us during this difficult time.  One thing we have been able to do is offer live stream services every Sunday on both utube and Facebook.  We are so thankful to be able to use technology to worship with fellow believers while we are following the CDC guidelines and social distancing.

As we look to the future, we are optimistic that our numbers continue to improve in New Jersey, and that our Governor continues to open businesses.  We are hopeful that we will be able to resume Sunday Morning Services in the near future.

One ministry that we look forward to every year is Vacation Bible School.  This ministry is led by many volunteers and requires a lot of coordination.  With the quarantine in place and so many unknowns on the required security measures, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to offer a Vacation Bible School program this summer.   This was a decision was not made lightly, as VBS is a great opportunity to share the gospel with our community children and we love ministering to them.  We are hopeful to be able to have some alternative children activities later in the summer or in the fall. Please watch for future communications and let your kids know we miss them and hope to see them soon!

We look forward to the day that we can safely open our church doors and to be together again.  Until then, we will continue to pray for our government, healthcare providers and for the physical, emotional and spiritual health of our American people.

If there is anything our church family can do to help you during this time please let us know.

God’s peace be with you

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
