The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed games both inside and out in between sessions, praise & worship, meals and tournaments. We grew closer as a group and challenged one another as we came home to commit to be plugged in to Christ and His word.

This week was full of fun, excitement, singing, laughing, God sightings, and praising God.
We are so thankful to everyone that donated their time, resources, finances and talents to make this week such a success. We would like to extend a special thank you to all of the volunteers that came out every night and shared their love for God and for the people behind the scenes that put in countless hours preparing and decorating the church so the kids could experience Norway.
We would like to extend our immense gratitude to the parents for giving us the opportunity to share God’s love with their children. We hope they had as much fun as we did.
We ask that you pray for each child and family. We pray that the spiritual seeds that were planted this week will continue to grow and help them grow closer to God everyday. We pray they will always remember….

The Christmas season is such a magical time for us as Christians. It is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Over the last few weeks we have been blessed in our fellowship during many Christmas celebrations and we would like to welcome you to our final celebration of the season on Christmas Day at 11:00am. We invite you to worship with us and praise God for his life changing gift of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ladies Christmas Silent Auction Brunch – On Saturday, December 5th the ladies gathered for a time of delicious food, shopping to raise funds for our missionaries and were blessed by a presentation by Melissa Arnesen. She presented a monologue of Mary’s life and her experiences as the mother of Jesus. It was both beautiful tribute that provided a heartwarming reminder of the sacrifice she made and the miracle of Jesus’s birth.
Youth Group Christmas Banquet – On Saturday December 5th at 1:30pm our youth group traveled to Mount Bethel, PA for the annual Youth Christmas Banquet. They were dressed to impress at this masquerade ball. They enjoyed a time of worship and fellowship and had a blast playing games in the game room and enjoying some great ice cream at the snack shop.
Senior Citizens Christmas Party – On Tuesday, December 8th our seniors gathered together to enjoy a delicious meal, fellowship and entertainment. Bob Stolt inspired us with his historical view of the wise men and their journey. Charlie Ianni a professional gospel singer blessed us through song as she sang “Mary Did You Know”. It was a wonderful day, enjoyed by all.
Christmas Pageant – On Sunday, December 14th the Bunker Hill cast amazed us with their performance of “Breaking News: Baby Born in Bethlehem”. It was a fun story that asked the question, if Jesus was born today, would we overlook the birth of our Messiah. It reminded us to not let the hustle and bustle of the season distract us from celebrating the birth of our or Lord and Savior. We pray that you shine the light of Jesus Christ throughout your lives and this Christmas season.
We would like to thank the entire cast for the hard work and dedication they gave to sharing this Christmas message with us. We extend a special thank you to the director Karen DeKok for the countless hours she spent preparing and working with the cast members on this production.
Girls Club and Boys Brigade Christmas Party – On Thursday, December 17th our elementary age boys and girls gathered together for their annual Christmas party. They enjoyed a time of dodge ball; candy cane relays, delicious treats and dedicated time in prayer to remind the children that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
Christmas Cantata – On Sunday December 20th we were blessed by the sound of Christmas as our choir presented the annual Christmas cantata “Sing the Glory”. This beautiful presentation uplifted our hearts and allowed us to praise our Lord and Savior through song.
We would like to thank the Bunker Hill Choir for the hard work and dedication they gave to practicing for this performance. We extend a special thank you to the choir conductor, Harriet Nilsen for the countless hours she spent preparing and working with the choir to present this Christmas performance.
Support a Local Family – We as a church were fortunate enough this year to provide Christmas gifts to 7 families. We pray these gifts help bring a little of the Christmas spirit to these families and that they would feel the love of Jesus as they open them.
We would also like to thank everyone that donated food items to the 5 Thousand More Food Pantry. Your donations will help parents prepare a special Christmas meal for their family.
A New Year’s Prayer –As we begin the new year, we encourage you to pray this prayer today, and every day. We pray that you will allow God to be your guide throughout your lives.
We pray for God’s blessings on each of you throughout the remainder of the Christmas Season and the New Year. We look forward to worshiping with you on Christmas and throughout 2016
A big thank you to everyone who ran/walked/donated/volunteered/came out/etc to the Hugs for Brady twilight 5k on May 16, 2015! By participating in the race Bunker Hill Brady Bunch helped raise funds to fight against childhood cancer.
The kids fun run was so exciting to see and they gave it all they had! Several of our church members ran/walked in the 5k race and our very own Karen DeKok came in first place for her age bracket. We had a great time together and look forward to participating again next year!
