Bunker Hill Lutheran Church
50 Years of Ministry in the Princeton Area!
Bunker Hill Lutheran Church began its' ministry in the Princeton area in 1957. A handful of Norwegian families, having migrated from Brooklyn to Griggstown, were looking to establish a place of worship. The original building was built in just 17 Saturdays under the contracting abilities of many of the member families, including the pastor! Since then, several additions have been added including a parsonage on the adjoining property. No longer just a Norwegian Community Church, we are once again on the "grow" as we anticipate new ministry opportunities under the leadership of Pastor Gary and Anne Kitchin.
Bunker Hill is a member congregation of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America.
