"But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with (Jesus) Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved."
(Ephesians 2:4-5)

Friday, May 16th, 2014

A big thank you to everyone who ran/walked/donated/helped/came out/etc to the Hugs for Brady twilight 5k on May 3, 2014! Our team, the Bunker Hill Brady Bunch raised over $1,000 to help fight against childhood cancer!!! What fun we had.

The kids fun run was so exciting to see and they gave it all they had! Our very own Dave came in 20th with a time of 21.43.1!! Melanie Nicole and Raquel also were valiant in their efforts with times that were impressive!!

Thank you to Melanie & Karen for the work they put into the church table getting the word out about Vacation Bible School and Bunker Hill Church.

Youth Group Winter Weekend Recap

Saturday, March 1st, 2014

8 of our young people and 4 leaders set off President’s Day weekend for the annual Winter Weekend Retreat at Tuscarora Inn in Mt Bethel PA. The theme for this year “The Living Dead” based upon the scripture from Ephesians 2:4-5a “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.” The speaker – Matt Furby and the worship band – True North

Our weekend was filled with good food and good fellowship. From the tournament games to the sessions with Furby – there was never a dull moment. And in between we had SUMO, snow tubing, and porridge. There was bubble talk and apples to apples. And more SUMO and snow tubing! There was so much laughter! Both the youth and the leaders enjoyed the weekend away to focus on their relationship with Christ and to grow in their friendships with one another. The love of God touched the heart of one of our campers and opened their heart and eyes And they became a child of the one true King this weekend accepting Christ as their personal Savior! Praise the Lord!!! And many of the others made personal commitments to be “zombie slayers” – in other words go out and share the message – the cure- that comes with a personal relationship with Christ!

Want to hear more – JOIN US – Sunday March 9th at 5 pm for some food and fellowship – See and hear from these young people the impact the weekend made on their personal walk with God! Thank you for the prayers!
