"But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with (Jesus) Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved."
(Ephesians 2:4-5)

VBS Recap

Tuesday, August 8th, 2017

VBS week has come and gone! We were excited to welcome kids to The Maker Fun Factory, and blessed by the support of many volunteers.

We are thankful for the parents who entrusted us with their children, and for the generosity of all who gave through prayer, financial support, and countless hours of creativity and energy. With our mission project, we collected 34 backpacks and filled an entire bin with supplies for the foster children care. As we say at The Maker Fun Factory, WOW God!

Save the date for Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 9 from 1-4pm. If you were here last year, you know what a blast it was and we plan to make it even better this year! There will be a bounce house, dunk tank, minute to win it games for the whole family, volleyball, and more!

Following Family Fun Day, Sunday School and our fall schedule will kick off on Sunday, September 10:
9:30am – Sunday School (children and adult classes)
11:00am – Worship Service (junior church and nursery are available)
12:00pm – Church Picnic

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Youth Group Recap Of Winter Weekend in Tuscarora, 2014

Sunday, March 9th, 2014

Tonight we were blessed to hear from our Youth Group and how God touched their lives during the Winter Weekend retreat at Tuscarora. The youth shared with us some of the funny stories from the weekend. They told us about the sports they played and the snow tubing they enjoyed. They sang some of the songs they learned and even had all the adults doing some of the silly songs and motions. Hearing the joy in the kid’s voices as they told their stories and seeing the bond they share as Christian friends was heartwarming. However, the part that was the most touching was to hear how God worked in their hearts. The children shared about how they need to surround themselves with friends that share their faith so they can be held accountable. They also talked about how important it is to share our beliefs with non-believers so they can also learn about God’s love. They gave a visual presentation about how we as sinners are damaged but when we go to the Lord and ask forgiveness we are repaired and our souls are clean.

Thank you to each of the children for sharing their experiences. Thank you to each of the leaders that chaperoned the trip. We heard from one of the children that they asked God into their heart as their personal Lord and Savior that weekend. After hearing that it was clear what a life altering experience it was. Please continue to pray for the children that the lessons they learned will remain with them throughout their lives.
